How to find the Port ID in Biztalk 2010?

    Question

  •  I have configured a receiving port named it "SalesOrder" It contains a receiving location of File Type.

    Now when i use this receiving port in a Send port i define a filter like this :

    BTS.ReceivePortName==SalesOrder

    I start the ports and it works just fine.

    Now question is if i want to us the filter like this :

    BTS.ReceivePortID=="Where do i get the Port ID"

    How can i find the PortID in Biztalk 2010.

  • Get the port ID from the table bts_receiveport in BizTalkMgmtDB.

  • You can open the group hub page and then look for the all subscriptions query. If I remember correctly, this will show all the ports and actually show the use of Port ID queries.

    Thanks,

  • There is another way if you can see any suspended instances for the receive port in the BizTalk Group Hub page OR Query for the Tracked Message Events you can open the Message Details of the tracked Message Events/Suspended Instances and in the Context tab see the ReceivePortID value.

  • Hi Shailender,

    I would advise if its avoidable, use the PortName as a filter coz portid's would change when you move within environments. You can get them from the table bts_receiveport as Rohit mentioned.
