       Hi,

WLK 1.3 help says WLAN test requires 2 Atheros chipset NICs
But Atheros produced so many chipsets! Is there any specific chipset for Atheros?

Or ANY Atheros WLAN chipset will do ?

I know someone have mentioned  D-link NICs in this forum
But shouldn't there be a complete list??

    thanks!

Well, I also got the answer from a helpful man Jerry Peterson
after asking WLAN NDISTest <wlanndt@microsoft.com> :

    His quotes:
"802.11n capable cards based on the Atheros chipset would be your best option for the SoftAP machine.  We also suggest that you install the adapters in a desktop system.  You can review a list of adapters supported by the SoftAP Miniport driver by opening supplied INF file.

    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Driver Test Manager\Tests\x86fre\NTTest\nettest\ndis\ndistest.net\softapminiport\NETATHR.INF

Not all adapters can be purchased world-wide.  However if you are looking for a D-Link device, I believe the  “D-Link DWA-547 RangeBooster N650 Desktop Adapter” and "D-Link DWA-552 XtremeN Desktop Adapter" are available for purchase in Taiwan."
