SQL Server 2000 - Where to run the restore command?

    Question

  • Hi there,

I have an old server with SQL Server 2000 installed on it.

I need to run the restore command (GUI does not work for my purpose) - I do not know where to paste this restore command?

I do not see anything like SQL Management Studio which I am familiar with - but can see an SQL Server Enterprise Manager - which has the GUI to restore. May be that's the old utility.

    Thanks all.

  • Select "SQL Query Analyzer" under Tool Menu.

Paste the Restore Command by selecting/using the right DB. Run using F5

  • You can do it via OSQL

Or Look for Isqlw tool , its the query analyzer.
