how to enable macro
-
Sonntag, 29. April 2012 21:18I have a Word 2007 document called Customer.docm. I created a macro for for it with Customer.docm (document) selected in the "Macros in" field. I click Macros in the Developer tab. I selected the name of the macro and clicked Run. It displays an error message "The macros in this project are disabled. Please refer the online help or documentation of the host application to determine how to enable macros." I clicked Macro Security in the Developer tab. I've tried all the combinations with and without "Trust access to the VBA project object model" checked. I'm still getting the same error when I run the macro. "The macros in this project are disabled. Please refer the online help or documentation of the host application to determine how to enable macros." How do you enable macros?

The idea is that you either save your document Customer.docm in a folder that has already been made a Trusted Location by you, or that you make the folder in which Customer.docm is stored a Trusted Location. Macros in Customer.docm will then automatically be enabled.Regards, Hans Vogelaar
