CD/DVDr drive is not listed in Device Manger in Windows Developer Preview

i have a problem with cd/dvd-r i am installed windows 8 developer preview for my pc problem is windows don't see my cd/dvd-r.im trying in the device manager but she is not there. what can i do

Hi viopop,

Is your DVD-R drive on IDE cable as a slave drive? If it is, try it as a master drive instead or connect to other IDE channel if it is available on your motherboard.

ok tanks i wil try later. now i download a version for -64bit i wish try with this version and if problem persist i wil doing that

ok i resolved the problem. i installed version for -64bit. the problem it was DVD-R drive on IDE cable as a slave drive . tank you for your prompt answer
