    Hello all! When i create a new virtual machine in Azure does it come fully updated and patched?!?

    Hi,

    If you are talking about IaaS I don't think so, could be some updates that aren't applied yet but, if you are picking up IaaS you already know that's a thing that you have to deal with, you are responsible for managing updates.

    If you talking about Cloud Services the answer is "yes", roles are automatically updated/patched in a regular basis.

    Curious if MSFT will allow upgrades from server 2012 preview / rc to the actually released version.
