While using SSL, how do I configure HTTPS endpoint to use a default port..?

I'm not sure if my question makes any sense at all... but here's my situation.
I purchased a wildcard SSL and configured CNAME to forward "sub.domain.com" to "myservice.cloudapp.net". I configured my SSL and uploaded to Azure. In my Azure project, I have end points configured as below:
Name: HttpIn, Protocol: http, Public Port: 80
Name: HttpsIn, Protocol: https, Public Port:8080After deploying the solution, I can succesfully navigate to my app (https://sub.domain.com:8080) with a secure connection. However, what I want to do is to use https://sub.domain.com only (https with no port number..).
when I navigate to https://sub.domain.com, I get "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" message.
How can I do this?

I was able to do it by giving the "HttpsIn" endpoint a port number "443". Thanks.- Als Antwort markiert TMLP Dienstag, 17. April 2012 00:43
