Locked Problem with Windows Workflow

I have a workflow that I am attempting to customize (a Sitefinity 4.4 workflow if anyone is familar with that product) and it only half loads in the designer. What I mean by that is this: some of the nodes in the workflow are blank, but not all of them. Also, when I look at the workflow, one of the decision nodes is shaking back and forth on my screen.

This is quite possibly the most bizarre thing I've seen a computer do. I've already tried reinstalling Visual Studio (using 2010 w/ SP1) and it hasn't worked. The weird thing is: my desktop has this problem, but my laptop does not and the workflow loads up just fine there.

I've attached a screenshot so you can see what I'm talking about. Note that one node is okay (up top) but the others are not (bottom).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Chris Aumiller

    Hi Chris,
As you description “my desktop has this problem, but my laptop does not and the workflow loads up just fine there.”
So there maybe something wrong with your desktop.
Please try to reboot your desktop computer to safe mode to isolate whether any applications are interfering with the visual studio.
Or create a new user account to isolate the possibilities that user profile related causes.
Or try to disable all addins , see whether it is helpful.

If you still have any further concern about this issue, you can try to write a new post to

    Thank you for your understanding!
