"Upgrade Migration" from 2005 to 2010 question.

We are doing a Upgrade Migration to a new server with the TFS 2010 requirements.
The old server had Windows Server 2003, Sql Server 2005, Reporting Services, Sharepoint 2.0 TFS 2005.
We do NOT want the Sharepoint and Reporting Services migrated from the old server. We never really used any of the reports or sharepoint stuff in TFS 2005 and want a clean start for those areas. All we want are the defaults for the sharepoint and reporting services created in a clean TFS 2010 install.
Looking at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms253070(VS.80).aspx can we just not restore the DBs associated with the sharepoint and reporting services on the new server?

Hi plinville,
You can only restore the databases you need on the new server.

Hi Plinville,
Thanks for your post.
For your scenario, as Catherine said, you can only restore the TFS databases to your new TFS 2010 Server.
Note: please make the full backup for your TFS 2005 before perform the upgrade.
