How to remove the Category name from the modified view of a list?

Hi,

I have modified a documet library with applying filter as "categories ".

I don't want to show category in the documents library. Only the columns name should be displayed.

For ex: Holiday category: 2012 plans

Here i have filtered view using Holiday category But want to hide it. Only column should be visible.

Filtering should be achievable even if you exlude the filtering column from the view.  It's always worked for me.  Have you tried?

Yes i have tried but i want to filter using category but want to hide the category name in front end.

It works with category field also. You can use category column in filter then unckeck this column from your default view.

Can you explain your problem in detail?
