Dashboard Designer Issue with a PerformancePoint Site that is HTTPS

While I can access this PerformancePoint site with SSL and on port 82 on the SharePoint server ... when I run the Dashboard Designer I get the following error msg:
"An error has occurred attempting to contact the specified SharePoint site. Please check your connection and setting and try again."
Why is that error msg happening?
When I access the site via another computer I get I need to select continue to access the site, prompt to log in, annoying red address bar (certificate error) and the following error msg:
"Application download did not succeed. Check your network connection, or contact your system administrator or network service provider."Please help!

**UPDATE**
I was able to fix this issue: "Application download did not succeed. Check your network connection, or contact your system administrator or network service provider."
Im however still having this issue:
