Email Validation and Phone Validtion on Sharepoint 2010 list using infopath 2010

Question

hey,

i developed infopath form to store data in sharepoint list

can anyone tell me how to validate email and phone number(USA) in infopath forms.

InfoPath provides ability to create your own pattern for input validation. You can create a new validation rule by clicking “Manage Rules”. Select "matched pattern" or "does not match pattern" as your validation condition.

Please search internet using keyword “InfoPath validation email regular expression” or something similar to find out email/phone regular expression. I’m pretty sure you will easily find one for your form.
