When changing a SPD Workflow initiation form in InfoPath, why does it ask me to save before Quick Publish?

This is the first time I've tried to update a standard SPD workflow form in InfoPath. SP 2010 Server (*not* Enterprise), InfoPath 2010 (32-bit), Win7. I bring up SPD, click on the workflow's initiation form .xsn and can edit it, but when I click 'Quick Publish', it asks me to save it locally, then it does the publish. I wasn't expecting that. Everything seems to work fine, I can use my edited form, but it's a pain to have it ask me to save locally.
Is this a setting somewhere in Central Admin that I need to have the network folks look at? What kind of questions should I be asking them? Thanks.

Just something InfoPath does! The local copy is for your backup. (maybe not to useful in this example) The published copy has one more piece of information embedded, the path where it was save, so XML files (the completed forms) can find their templates.

Thanks Mike! I was confused since most documentation I've read doesn't say anything about it - just 'hit quick publish and you're good to go'.
PS - I use your site a lot for information, so thanks!
