VBA module invalidated by Windows update

Question

My VBA module stopped working (will not longer compile) due to an automatic Windows update.  I suspect that comdlg32 (version 6.0, SP3), mscomctl.ocx (6.0, SP6) or both could be the problem.  Does anyone have a recommendation for replacements?
