hi ,
I have a .swf file used in html file and i try to browse using "https(SSL)".it will loads fine in Firefox, but in Internet Explorer8 wont able to load. When right-clicking it says "movie not loaded".
even i googling for the same and i got below option but i am still not able to get flash on html page. it will working fine in Internet Explorer 8 ,FireFox etc when we use"http".1) add headers like "Cache-Control: must-revalidate" or "Cache-Control: max-age=0" or "Cache-Control: no-store" etc
2) use CrossDomain.xml
we also able to load swf in https on Internet Explorer 8 but for that we have to do below settings in Internet Explorer 8 browser.
1) Go to Tools --> Click on Internet Option --> click on Advanced tab --> Now in security section checked mark on "Do not save encrypted pages to disk".
but above way is not a proper way to resolve the https issue
Thanks.

Hi,
tools>Internet Options>Security tab, click "Reset all zones to default"
Which Secuity Zone does your page load in (File>Properties menu in IE)
Is your swf file in the same https folder on your server? or is it third-party.
Why are you putting flash on a https page?
F12>Networking tab, click "Start Capture".
Also test in noAddons mode.

hi Rob,
as per your suggestion tools>Internet Options>Security tab, click "Reset all zones to default" , i get "Reset all zones to default" button already as disable.
Is your swf file in the same https folder on your server? or is it third-party.
--> yes, swf file is on same https folder in my server.
Why are you putting flash on a https page?
--> it is for secure purpose only and its client Requirement.

Hi,
Tools>Internet Options>Advanced tab, uncheck "Do not save encrypted files to disk"
Do you have google analytics on the page also? Why you have flash on a secure page is beond me.... sounds like a scam site.
Also test your page by running IE in noAddons mode and also in InPrivate mode. (Flash is disabled in these modes). You should also test by add the site to the IE Restricted Sites Zone where active scripting is disabled by default.
Please provide a url for futher assistance.
Regards.
