error in program but not in command window

    Frage

  • HI all,

all the while my system is using c# dll to convert cyrillic fonts to memo field. This is VFP can read the dbf file.

But somehow i`m tested the file using command window there is no error message and the dbf after convert is ok. Ok means if i`m straigh extracted it from zip files some columns is cyrillic fonts when i`m clicked on that column will shown "internal consistency error".

But for same code , if run the same zip file there is error return codebase error.

    Thanks.

  • I am a little bit confused...

Codebase error?  Or Code page error?  What is the error number?

And what do you mean by Internal consistency error? Is it same error or another error?

If the DBF is correct sometimes but sometimes not then you have an error in the conversion program probably but it is hard to decide without any DBF sample.

OK, first thing you should try is SET RESOURCE OFF before your tests.

  • Hi Pavel,

Yes codebase error. The error number is -64 , 94301 from dll that developed from c#.

The Internal consistency error is another error if i just manually open the dbf.

ok ok will try it SET RESOURCE OFF.

But now i tried uninstall dll and restart my laptop. Then reinstall dll again.

    Thanks.
