    Husain ShambhooraMSFTFreitag, 2. Oktober 2009 02:24

Social Bookmarks, the user generated bookmarking service from Microsoft, has discontinued service effective October 1, 2009.

Community engagement continues to be a key part of the online experiences for our developer (MSDN), IT professional (TechNet), and designer (Expression) audiences. We will continue to offer rich community engagement opportunities on MSDN, TechNet, and Expression.microsoft.com and will also continue to invest in delivering great customer experiences, while keeping a keen eye on our business objectives during this tough economic climate.

We thank you for your support & for using Bookmarks and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Bookmarks, the user generated bookmarking service from Microsoft, will be discontinued as of October 1, 2009 (for the MSDN, TechNet, Expression, Answers, & Microsoft brands).

People who have created bookmarks will be able to export them. We will have a notice running on the Bookmarks site to remind you to export your bookmarks. It is our goal that you export and keep all the bookmarks that you created that are important to you. More details and export instructions are available here.
