  • Hello Akshay,

This is wrong way.First be clear what you want to do on your server.DBCC has  lots of option. And i would not recommend it thru Maintenance plan

If you want to rebuild/reorganize use script by Ola Hallergern.

    http://ola.hallengren.com/

If you want to check Database integrity run DBCC CHECKDB() but i would not recommend you to schedule it every day.Depends on size of your DB .You can do it alternate days or once in week what ever suits you.

Please dont use SHRINK DATABASE command.

Maintenace cleanup task is not required.

You can write your own DBCC chekcdb script from http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms176064.aspx and schedule it using SQL server agent
