How to get and install the most recent version of the Entity Framework (including EF4 beta)

Question

V1 of the Entity Framework and the Entity Designer are distributed as part of VS 2008 SP1 / .Net 3.5 SP1 which are now available in their final form.  The next release, which we call EF4, ships as part of .Net Framework v4 and Visual Studio 2010 which is now available in beta.
