Register VS 2010 Express

Hi,
I recently installed Visual C++ 2010 Express Edition on my Server 2003 and registered it using the mail I got. Due to lack of much disk space, however, I removed it. Now I am downloading the Visual Studio ISO file. By searching I found individual registration codes of Visual C# and Web Developer Tools. Will these work in the ISO file? Also, will the same registration code for the C++ I had work again? I may finish downloading in a few days and I need to start my school projects so it's a bit urgent.

Hi rahuly1039,Welcome to the MSDN forum.
“By searching I found individual registration codes of Visual C# and Web Developer Tools."
Please note, you must register in order to use these kinds of products.
So if you have download the All-in-one ISO package of Express. After installing, you can register by these steps:
Help>>Register Product
Then you will get a product key again for free. (Note: For Visual Studio 2010, you should register via Internet)Additionally, your issue looks like a license issue, I recommend you call 1-800-426-9400, Monday through Friday, 6:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. (Pacific Time) to speak directly to a Microsoft licensing specialist, and you can get more detail information from there. Worldwide customers can use the Guide to Worldwide Microsoft Licensing Sites to find contact information in their locations:

If you have any other questions, please feel free to let me know.Best regards,

Montag, 12. März 2012 16:46Hello. What I think is, probably an ISO is not a good idea for installing Visual C++ 2010 Express. Try installing it from here: http://www.microsoft.com/visualstudio/en-us/products/2010-editions/visual-cpp-express. If this solves your problem. reply back to me.
