Reserving app names

Question

If I am reading the bits about the forum here and elsewhere there is an issue with registering either a developer or company account.

In addition, unless I am missing something, we are not able to reserve app names at this time.

I would appreciate it greatly if anyone from Microsoft could confirm this limitation.

My company has 5 Metro apps in the testing stage presently.  I would like to reserve the names for these apps.

You cannot reserve app names without a developer account and developer account registration is not open to the general public in the Consumer Preview. For updates and more information about registering for a developer account, please see the following thread:
