    I am just about to create 10 containers with 3 million files in each.  Will I be able to change my container names after they have millions of blobs? 

    Just wondering how critical it is that I am happy with my contianer names.

    The REST operations for containers are listed here and there is no option to rename a container.

    Neil is correct. You cannot rename a container. One workaround is to create a new container, copy all blobs from the old container to the new one, and delete the old one. The copy operation is performed on the blob service side. You don't need to upload the blobs again. Refer to http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd894037.aspx for more information.
