WASAPI buffer durations real computer, emulator, ARM tablet?

Porting some other dust catching project to W8RP, I've run into various issues. The latest being WASAPI. When initializing it on W8CP, the buffer duration during initialization was always returned to be 10ms, being on a normal computer or emulator. Now with W8RP, the computer still initializes at 10ms, on the emulator I'm suddenly being returned the value of 16.5ms.
Is this normal? Should I also expect varying buffer sizes when ran on an ARM tablet? Or will it actually stay 10ms and it's just the emulator being the issue?

Don't have a WinRT tablet. I wish Microsoft would sell the Surface early to developers. Then again, the store isn't open to everyone, either, until RTM.
I changed buffer handling to be able to deal with variable buffer sizes. Destroyed the ability to time via the audio system, tho.
