Task switch

Question

Is there any way of switching apps(when u have lots running) except for the task manager?

I have an ideea(if someone can make a plugin or app) it will be nice if you might be able to see all the open apps as tiles, like this image:

or to be able to choose between the new task swiping and a running apps bar, like this:

Hi Ky,

This is being considered per this blog post: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/b8/archive/2011/10/03/evolving-the-start-menu.aspx. 

"Some of you have talked about it feeling less efficient to cycle through your recent programs compared to using the taskbar (and we'll have more to say about that in future posts). "
