Unanswered why windows mobile creates new icon after every installation??

    hi

    i've prepared an application for windows mobile with making its a .cab file. when first time i installed it creates the shortcut at start up named "myapp". after some modification of my code i have compiled again. then first uninstalled the previous one & then installed the new one. but this time it creates "myapp(1)" in the start up folder. i'm confused with this behaviour. please help.

    Interesting thing is that its ok for non touch windows mobile sets. but this problem only for touch windows mobile sets. please help.

    Hello,

     

    I tested this on my side, and it works fine. I think the reason is the myapp shortcut was not deleted by the CAB project. Would you please show us the detail steps to reproduce this problem, or you can reinstall the Windows mobile SDK and try again.
