BOL InCorrect? Backup Compression in SQL 2012 Standard Edition

Question

SQL 2008 r2 standard edition comes with Backup Compression however

Does backup compression is availbale in SQL 2012 standard edition? I do not have SQL 2012 media yet just confirming as MSDN Books Online incorrectly states that it is not available in standard edition

Creating compressed backups is supported only in SQL Server 2008 Enterprise and later, but every edition of SQL Server 2008 and later can restore a compressed backup.

Hi Chirag, you are correct that this is a documentation bug.  It is supported in Standard and BI edition in SQL Server 2012 as well and is listed here in the "features supported by edition" document:
