Locked SQL Denali in-place upgrade to RTM

    Hi guys,

    We have been using SQL Denali CTP3 evaluation. One of the questions that came up in our discussion is whether an in-place upgrade will be supported by Microsoft from Denali CTP3 evaluation to RTM version later?

    It would really help us if you can share any info regarding this.

        My experience was that, after selecting upgrade (from ctp3), rc0 install was apparently going to do an installation of a *new* instance, not an upgrade of the default ctp3.  So I ended up uninstalling ctp3 before installing rc0.
