    Hello friens,

I have a Document Library with an Excel File in which i have 3 parameters to modify their values from Excel Services. Well, i perform this actions.

1.- Edit file with Excel Services.
    2.- Modify the three parameters
    3.- Press Apply button.
4.- The Excel Services reloads the file and all changes appear in the page
5.- PROBLEM: If i edit the file from Excel Client the file isn't modified with the changes made from Excel Services...or if i set a Excel based KPI, the KPI shows the old values...

I dont know what is the reason...

    Any idea?

    Regards Friends.

Excel Services questions go to the Excel Services forum.

    Moving this there.

do you have content approval turned on for the library?  possible you may need to approve the file before it works or disable the feature for the library if not needed.  another tip is might try turning off versioning if it is enabled.  versioning shouldn't be the issue though but it is a troubleshooting step if it is enabled.

Excel Services 2007 does not allow you to "save" back to the document library - all changes you make are transient in nature - they are gone. You can open in Excel and then save and you can use other tools to allow you to save, but you can't do it from the EWA proper.
