    Saumil...

What's your question here?  Is it how to use DRM?  How to set permissions?

    Thanks

Sorry Kris For Misleading thru question,

    I want to know
    1.)  what is DRM ?
2.) How to Restrict User from Downloading Sensitive documents from Sharepoint Document Library?

Can I Use DRM  for Document Access and Control.

I hope this makes some sense.

    Thanks.

    Hi there,

    1. DRM (IRM in Sharepoint) is a very powerful solution that can restrict what is done with the items from Sharepoint lists when they have been downloaded. You can prevent printing of downloaded documents, or excerpts being taken from them etc.
    2. You can do this without using IRM. Sharepoint has a solid permissions/security model which you can use to stop download of items in the first place. If that's what you're after then IRM might be overkill.

    Have a look at this overview;

Is there a way SharePoint could do the following restrictions to PDF documents:

    1. Prevent users from taking screenshots (including third party screen capture software
      software)
    2. Watermark the document with username (To prevent taking a picture with camera
    3. Prevent user from printing document

I am trying to avoid going with a third party application that requires the PDF to be converted
to another file format and opens with a proprietary viewer. I understand  this is a stretch but I figured I would
    through it out there.
