Why "__FILE__" is searched as "file"?

Question

I'm looking for the documentation on the __FILE__ C++ macro, yet when I enter "__FILE__ macro" the search engine strips the underlines off and looks for "File macro", then returning lots and lots of items that have absolutely nothing to do with my search. It's not like the underline symbol is irrelevant on a web site about software development in general and C++ in particular. When is this going to be fixed?

I am not seeing the "_" being removed from the search.  http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Search/en-US/?Refinement=125&Query=%22__FILE__+macro%22

This is exactly related to my recent complaint about searching for "!endif". Whether the underscores are being removed or not is irrelevant! Thales is trying to find EXACTLY that term and instead is getting a million irrelevant matches to the word "file".
